Summer Learning at SENSEsational Science
So far this summer has been crazy busy! Two weeks at SENSEsational Science workshop and then last week and next teaching at the Fine Arts Camp. Great experiences and lots of learning going on. Here are some of the highlights from the SENSEsational Science week. Some of the places we visited were The Children's Museum, Oxley Nature Center, Linneaus Teaching Gardens, The Tulsa Aquarium, The Tulsa, Zoo, Philbrook Museum, and Gilcrease Museum. Excited to incorporate more science into my lesson plans for the upcoming year!
New Lesson Plan Available!!
I am finally back to pulling together some new lessons for sale at my Teachers Pay Teachers site. The first is up today. It is a lesson where I teach the students to combine the art of Blue Dog artist George Rodrigue with the art of Paul Gauguin. This is always a student favorite! I use it at the second grade level but it could be adjusted to use at another level. Here are some highlights.
